Almond Milk my recipe, yields 1 cup
- 1 cup almonds, soaked with skin overnight
- 1 cup water, additional
- Optional: Sweeteners
- 1/4 teaspoon olive oil or ghee (this stabilizes the almond milk)
You will need nut milk bags (ordered from amazon).
- Discard soaked water.
- Add 1 cup water.
- Add oil or ghee.
- Blend in a Mixer (I use nutribullet).
- Sieve through the nut milk bag.
- Use leftover almonds residue in rotis.
