ALMOND MILK

ALMOND MILK

Almond Milk my recipe, yields 1 cup

  1. 1 cup almonds, soaked with skin overnight
  2. 1 cup water, additional
  3. Optional: Sweeteners
  4. 1/4 teaspoon olive oil or ghee (this stabilizes the almond milk) 

You will need nut milk bags (ordered from amazon). 

Method 

  1. Discard soaked water.
  2. Add 1 cup water.
  3. Add oil or ghee.
  4. Blend in a Mixer (I use nutribullet).
  5. Sieve through the nut milk bag.
  6. Use leftover almonds residue in rotis.
