Brown Rice Idlis:

Makes 16 idlis

Ingredients

¾ cup brown rice soaked in the morning

¼ cup white urad dhal soaked in the morning

Method:

(2) Must be ground extra fine, so not grainy

(3) Add 1 tabsp white miso to this batter

(4) Ferment overnight

(5) The batter is ready to use the next morning

Other Breakfast Options: (1) Dosas (2) Pancakes made with idli batter [can be had with honey] (3) Polenta (corn grits) made like an upma (4) Veggie soup with a whole grain and veggies thrown into soup or grain blended
